i got this tattoo for a friend of mine that really impacted my life.
it’s a walrus with a mustache.
got it done in honolulu hawaii by my friend micah who works at black cat studio

First and only tattoo. I saw this drawing on the liner notes for Nobody Special’s first album and said aloud, “If I ever get a tattoo, this picture will be it. 18 years later, that prediction came true. I never have regretted it, though my mother whined about her “42-year old boy doing something so stupid”.
The picture really struck me at a time I was struggling to fit in and allow some real relationships to grow. It’s a picture of Jesus leading the freaks… of all kinds. There are many more in the art, but I couldn’t fit them all.
The tattoo was enlarged and a section that would fit my left shoulderblade area was selected. Tattoo was done by Ahmed Eldarrat at Trader Bob’s http://www.myspace.com/traderbobs
